Erick Mutayoba

Erick Mutayoba is a  Food Systems Youth Leader from the Kagera region of Tanzania, with a background in Computer Networks and Information Security Engineering from the University of Dodoma. His technical expertise spans network systems, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure, giving him a strong foundation in technology.

Beyond his technical knowledge, Erick is deeply passionate about sustainable development, particularly the intersection of food systems and technology. He recently participated in specialized training on Food Systems, conducted by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) Foundation in Dar es Salaam, where he gained valuable insights into the relationship between food production, consumption, and environmental sustainability.

Erick is committed to exploring innovative solutions to reduce the environmental impact of food systems while promoting security in technology. His work focuses on empowering youth to tackle local food systems challenges through advocacy, community engagement, and innovative projects, fostering a sustainable and resilient future for all.
