Careen Ngwawi

Careen Samwel Ngwawi is a passionate youth leader from Iringa, Tanzania, committed to transforming food systems through agroecology, youth empowerment, and community engagement. With hands-on experience in climate-smart agriculture, food security awareness, and grassroots agricultural initiatives, Careen promotes inclusive and resilient food systems that are locally driven and environmentally sustainable.

Her work focuses on empowering young people to be active contributors within the food value chain. Through strong skills in project coordination, youth mobilization, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement, Careen creates platforms that link youth innovation with sustainable local food solutions.
