Malkia Jumbe is a passionate young leader currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Studies at the University of Dar es Salaam. With a keen interest in storytelling and strategic communication, she leverages her academic background to amplify community voices and drive positive change.

As a dedicated advocate for food systems transformation, Malkia actively engages in initiatives that promote nutrition, sustainable agriculture, and equitable food access within her community. She has participated in grassroots campaigns to raise awareness about food security and climate-resilient farming practices among youth and women, demonstrating her commitment to creating a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Beyond her work in food systems, Malkia is a strong proponent of community development. She volunteers with local youth groups, mentors fellow students, and contributes to projects focused on economic empowerment, education, and social innovation. Her leadership is grounded in collaboration, empathy, and a deep belief in the potential of young people to solve local challenges.

Malkia combines her skills in mass media with her passion for community action, using digital platforms to document success stories, share resources, and inspire others to take part in transformative initiatives.
