Kenedy Erick Lyatuu is a passionate youth leader dedicated to driving sustainable food systems transformation in Tanzania and across Africa. As a Dar es Salaam Food Systems Youth Leader, he actively contributes to efforts that promote nutrition, climate resilience, and inclusive community development. His leadership focuses on elevating the voices of young people in policy spaces and ensuring that youth perspectives are central to national conversations about agriculture and food security.

Kenedy is also the founder of AfroHarvest Ventures, a growing startup committed to empowering communities through innovative agribusiness solutions. Through AfroHarvest, he works to create livelihood opportunities, support small-scale producers, and demonstrate how youth-led enterprises can accelerate progress toward resilient food systems. His entrepreneurial approach reflects a strong belief in the power of local solutions and the importance of investing in young innovators.

Internationally, Kenedy has represented Tanzania in high-level spaces including the United Nations Food Systems Summit, the Nutrition for Growth Summit, and other regional and global dialogues advancing the 2030 Agenda and food systems transformation. His dedication and passion continue to inspire young people to lead meaningful change, advocate for inclusive policies, and build a sustainable future where no one is left behind.
