Jackson Zanzibar

Jackson Focus Zanzibar is a dedicated advocate for sustainable food systems and community health, currently serving as the Director of Tanzania Nightingale’s Lamp. He is passionate about empowering youth leaders in Dar es Salaam to promote food security and equitable access to nutritious resources. Through his leadership, Jackson integrates food systems advocacy into healthcare initiatives, recognizing the vital connection between nutrition and overall well-being.

In addition to his role as a director, Jackson is an experienced community health nurse, utilizing his skills to address the intersection of health and nutrition. He actively participates in initiatives that enhance sustainable agricultural practices and improve food security across Tanzania. As an advocate for the rights of elders, he ensures their voices are included in food and health policy discussions. Recognized for his exceptional leadership, Jackson has also served as the Former Prime Minister and Current Vice President at The Military College of Medical Sciences, where he guides peers in academic and extracurricular initiatives.
