Mwanahamisi Akyoo

Mwanahamisi Langaeli Akyoo is a self-motivated individual with a background in environmental issues, animal welfare, and human communities through her involvement with the Roots and Shoots club and the Community Advisory Board (CAB). Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Law at Tumaini University of Makumira in Arusha, she serves as the Deputy Minister of Legal Affairs in the Student Organization. As an Arusha Food Systems Youth Leader, Mwanahamisi has gained valuable training in leadership and food systems, enhancing her skills in effective communication, strategic planning, and public speaking. 

This training has deepened her understanding of food security, waste management, and sustainable agricultural practices, equipping her to address food-related challenges like malnutrition and obesity. Mwanahamisi actively takes action through media platforms, workshops, and community projects aimed at improving health and promoting the Sustainable Development Goals. She is dedicated to creating positive changes in food systems and community well-being.
