Joanitha Kassabrankahr Herman is a devoted biomedical engineer with a strong passion for advocating the prevention of non-communicable diseases, particularly in regions like Arusha, where these health challenges are prevalent. Her dedication to promoting healthier diets and lifestyles stems from a deep commitment to making a positive and lasting impact on community health.
Joanitha is currently volunteering as a youth leader at the Arusha Food Systems Youth Leaders (AFSYL) program. In this role, she is actively involved in efforts to improve food systems, raise awareness about proper nutrition, and address the health risks associated with poor diets.
