Hamzar Ngoi

Hamza Ngoi, a resident of Sokoni 1 ward in Arusha, is a mushroom farmer and participant in the Arusha Food Systems Youth Leaders (AFSYL) program. Through AFSYL training, he has gained valuable knowledge about food groups, food systems, and opportunities in crop farming. This training has helped him improve his mushroom production techniques and deepen his understanding of strengthening food systems.

Along with fellow members of the Tumaini Mushroom Group, Hamza uses this knowledge to enhance agricultural productivity and educate other farmers on food systems and best farming practices. The group is committed to spreading this knowledge to benefit a broader audience, thereby contributing to agricultural development and food security in their community. They aim to expand their activities and make a meaningful impact on agriculture in the region.
