Esther Koka

She is a dedicated youth leader, lawyer, and social advocate from Arusha, Tanzania. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and has been deeply involved in initiatives that empower youth, women, and communities. As the founder of the Familia Furaha Yangu Initiative, Ester advocates for stronger families and inclusive communities, with a special focus on raising awareness for people and children living with disabilities.

Ester is also a leader in the Nourishing Food Pathway Programme under the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN). Her work focuses on enhancing food environments in schools and communities by providing nutritional education to young students, women planning to become pregnant, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers. Through this program, she leads impactful projects that address the urgent need for nutrition education, reaching schools and local communities through innovative teaching and hands-on learning experiences
