Christina Ayoub Haule
Youth Leader
Christina Ayoub Haule is a 24-year-old youth leader and agri-entrepreneur with a strong passion for building sustainable and climate-resilient food systems. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Botany and Zoology and holds a Diploma in Animal Health and Production, as well as a Diploma in Permaculture Design.
With over three years of hands-on experience in livestock management, agroecology, and sustainable farming, Christina is committed to educating and empowering farmers through practical training in climate-smart agriculture, food waste management, and regenerative practices. She regularly conducts workshops and uses social media as a tool to raise awareness and share knowledge about food systems with wider audiences.
Christina is an active member of the Arusha Food System Youth Leaders and contributes to the Arusha Youth Voices Policy Advocacy initiative—an effort that empowers young people to influence local food policies through capacity building in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and digital storytelling. Through forums, training sessions, and advisory council formation, the initiative ensures youth perspectives are represented in food systems governance.
She also serves on the SCOPE Tanzania Steering Committee and is the co-founder of Ushindi Venture, a grassroots initiative that supports youth-led agricultural entrepreneurship. In Zanzibar, Christina leads permaculture clubs in schools, engaging students in regenerative agriculture and promoting sustainable food practices at the grassroots level.
Christina’s work is grounded in the belief that youth are key to transforming Africa’s food systems. She continues to champion inclusive, knowledge-based, and locally driven solutions that protect the environment and ensure food security for future generations.
